After our second child it was discussed that I would have a vasectomy, so I gave it some thought, got on with our lives and 3 years later I have decided to actually go ahead and have the procedure done.
Visiting the doctor with another issue I dropped into conversation that I wanted a vasectomy. This is the second time I have been to the doctors with the intention of discussing it, the first time there was a very good looking stdent doctor sitting in on the session, and talking about my balls became the last thing on my mind.
Anyway
After getting over the perceived embaressment of ball talk and raised the question there followed a brief discussion:
Doc: How Many Children do you have?
Me: 2
Doc: Have you discussed it with your partner?
Me: Yes
Doc: I will refer you to a clinic, you will recieve a letter.
And that was it, all very simple.
It seems ridiculous to have been embaressed the first time, but all in all I was releived just to have asked the question and now await the visit to said clinic.
