Gone but not forgotten

The daily routine has pretty much resumed without a thought given to my testicles. The pain and discomfort has gone and the only issue is occasionally a little tenderness and a little bit of stubble itch as the hair is still growing. Unfortunately this leads to a scratch fest when visiting the toilet at work, and on occasion having to pay a visit just to have a good ole scratch.

I can still feel lumps inside my balls, but these also seem to be reducing in size and don’t really cause any aggravation. The only downside is that as with all scars and cuts, there seems to be an unconscious need to check said lumps (in private obviously) usually leading to being accused of fiddling with myself by my wife.

Reading this post back you could be forgiven for thinking I sit about all day playing with my balls, rest assured its not that bad, you just tend to notice those sneaky grabs a little more!

Almost Healed

Its all looking good, the bruising has pretty much gone along with the majority of the swelling. Having a good fondle of my testicles there is an obvious small lump where the cut was made, this is slowly disappearing.

There is also a lump in my right testicle that I am assuming is the swelling of the cauterised tube. If I had felt this at any other time I would have been straight off to the doctors, as it post operation I will wait and see. I will hold off worrying for now.

Whilst looking kind of normal there is still a bit of tenderness, my trusty tight shorts are still the saviour of the day and they can be occasionally uncomfortable. I have also gone through the stage of my hair growing back being quite spiky and being like a hundred little pins in my balls!

At least I can get an erection now without worrying about splitting my sacs or causing great pain!

It’s been a week

The swelling has started to disappear, finally which is a great relief as I was debating a trip to the doc to check the swelling.

Last weekend saw some feverant web surfing as the bruising appeared to be really dark and would have been quite impressive, if it wasn’t on my balls!. Bruising not only appearred around the area of the vasectomy, but also under the testicles, not the greatest of sights.

Since the weekend I have not had the need for wound dressings, which has been more comfortable. As well as that I am still in double boxers, it does make it a lot more comfortable to get through the day. Good ole Ibuprofen also has a role to play.

I can now see the end of the healing and recovery process, and much to my wife’s anticipation (honest) the task of draining the reservoir that contains sperm with a recommended 3 ejaculations a week…

V Day + 3

The past few days I have developed a cricket ball between my legs, not only in size but also in colour. I have been bruised before but I have never seen anything so dark and purple, it looks really sore.

My god, I have never been in this much discomfort in my crotch.

I went to work today, even though the leaflet recommends a couple of days off to allow for recovery.

The swelling around my testicles has started to appear, and a little bruising is apparent. My ‘panty liner’ was becoming a bit of a nightmare and so I popped home for lunch and with some surgical tape strapped it to my testicle.

This strapping actually worked very well, and after a little manipulation I have found that a long piece of tape in a cross over the pad, and then to the base of the testicle and up by either side of the penis works a treat.

Other than that Paracetamol for the pain, Ibuprofen for the swelling, and tight pants are a absolute must!

V Day

V day..

During the morning I have been at work as per usual, not even thinking about the operation that I was having later on.

My wife picked mwe up and drove me to the clinic, at which point a little aprehension was sneaking in. The doctor performing the procedure was behind the reception desk and thus invited us straight through to his room, the shortest wait I have ever had in a doctors clinic.

Itchy and Scratchy

I have been shaved for only 1 day and my balls are on fire.

Whats worse is I cannot really walk about giving them the scratch they are crying out for.

I have now taken to slapping on a little sudocreme (nappy rash stuff) around the most uncofortable areas, it works quite well but i cannot wait till its all back to normal.

There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum…

In preperation for the vasectomy my balls are now hair free!

I have come to the conclusion that testicles were never meant to be shaved.

First its the hesitance as I weild a razor round my nether regions, then the flesh just doesnt want to stay still as the razor gets close.

The sage advice from grandad ’shave with the hair’ means nothing as I cannot figure out which way pubic hair grows. I dont think it is something I will be attempting again.

The op is a couple of days yet but I thought that I would rather do it now and then shave a few stragglers , if any, the day before.

Shaved?

Looking through the booklet there is a little section on where to shave for the op, looking at my testicles how the hell are you meant to shave them?

Aprehension

Will it hurt? Will it affect my sex drive? Will it affect an erection? what if the doctor slips with the scalpel?

Would you not agree that these are all serious issues?
